Mission & Vision
As part of an ambitious strategy to promote human health and the sustainability of society and the planet, the Novo Nordisk Foundation has established a cluster of research centres working within strategically important research areas. The Novo Nordisk Foundation Science Cluster is a Cluster Organisation dedicated to amplifying the synergetic impact of these large research grants by connecting, supporting, and fostering cross-collaboration among the prominent Novo Nordisk Foundation Research Centres.
Founded in 2012, the Science Cluster has grown to encompass all major relevant Novo Nordisk Foundation grant holders, creating a robust network of scientific expertise. By providing a framework for synergy and collaboration across institutions and research fields, we aim to enhance the entire scientific landscape in the region.
Our core pillars include the large Novo Nordisk Foundation Research Centres, with whom we organise international conferences, impactful events, and strategic networking opportunities. Through these efforts, we strive to drive innovation and advance research that addresses critical global challenges.
