    The Cluster Days are two days of intense networking and inspiration for and by staff at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Research Centres, Novo Nordisk Foundation investigator grant holders and Steno Diabetes Center researchers.The theme for the Cluster Days 2017 for junior staff is science communication. Key-note speaker Emilie Marcus will talk about scientific publishing and what makes a good story. The afternoon workshop is focused on how to reach the general public with your science.

    Speaker Bio

    As CEO of Cell Press, Emilie Marcus, PhD, sets the strategic and scientific direction for an international portfolio of leading scientific journals, conferences, and online tools for biomedical and chemistry researchers. In addition to her senior-management role, Dr. Marcus also serves as Editor-in-Chief of the flagship journal, Cell, where she is responsible developing the scientific vision for the journal and for overseeing the peer-review process and publication decisions.
