Lecture: The New Green Economy
How do we address the key challenges of transitioning to a greener and more sustainable society? Part of the solution might be to incorporate stocks and flows of natural resources and pollutants into models of the economy. Join us for a lecture on how we may use a green GDP index measuring the economic values of nature and concepts of circular economy to build models that can help us understand the interlinkages between natural resources and the rest of the economy at both a national scale and across borders – and how we make these models better. We are excited to announce our two Keynote Speakers, who will present their research and work on this interesting topic: Jette Bredahl Jacobsen, who is both Professor at Section for Environment and Natural Resources, Deputy Chairman of the Danish Council for Climate Change, and Special Advisor in the Environmental Economic Council. And Lars Gårn Hansen, who is also Professor at Section for Environment and Natural Resources, and is part of the Chairmanship in the Economic Council and the Environmental Economic Council advising the government on economic and environmental economic issues. Register to receive a link on mail the day of the event.
