    Kick-off Alumni Network

    Welcome to the first meeting of the alumni network for Novo Nordisk PhD and Postdoc fellows and PhD students and Postdocs at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Research Centers Starting up an alumni network begins with creating a network between the current enrolled students. That is why the main intention with this event is for you to expand your network, now and in the future. We will facilitate the process and make sure that you get the best out of it. To make it easy for you, you do not have to prepare anything, but please sign up no later than August 15, 2018. And if you sign up, please show up!

    Lars Rønn Olsen Associate Professor at DTU Bioinformatics

    Lars Rønn Olsen is Associate Professor of Bioinformatics at the Institute for Bio and Health Informatics at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). He is trained in bioinformatics at the DTU, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and University of Copenhagen and his primary research interest is cancer immunotherapy – specifically he works on identification of targets for chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy and neoepitope discovery for classic T cell therapies. In addition to machine learning-based prediction of CAR/HLA ligands, he works on systemic and tumor infiltrating immunity using mass cytometry-based immune profiling.

    This networking event is by invitation only and open for all PhD students and Postdocs at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Research Centers (CfB, CPR, Danstem and CBMR) and Novo Nordisk PhD and Postdoc fellows or alumni. It is completely free of charge, but registration is mandatory.

    What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

    If you are by car, you can park for free in front or at the side of Tuborg Havnevej 19. If that is full, there is 3 hours free parking in the parking to the Waterfront shopping mall at the end of the road.

    Public transport by train to Hellerup station, and/or bus (1A, 21, 166), nearest by bus stop is Tuborg Boulevard.

    How do I cancel my participation?
